Former Texas Longhorns center Mo Bamba might be the best prospect in this upcoming NBA Draft, but he also is one of the rawest, and he is nowhere close to reaching his ceiling.

Mo Bamba has been working with trainer Drew Hanlen who is one of the most well respected trainers in NBA circles. Bamba also has a fitness guru, physical therapist and a personal chef helping him prepare for the draft.

“Up until this point, he's been super talented but hasn't got the results he's capable of,” says Hanlen via Sports Illustrated. “If he has the ability to score and make plays and improve his strength, he'll be super valuable when you add in the defense he already brings to the table.”

To get Bamba to that point, Hanlen is taking skills from two of his other clients, Jayson Tatum and Joel Embiid. Bamba has already had his shot changed by Hanlen, using Tatum as an example in hopes this will help improve not only his shooting motion, but the percentage he will shoot. Hanlen is using Embiid as an example for offensive playmaking, especially in working off ball screens.

It's a three-step process that starts with just the fundamentals and will end going against current NBA players to see how much he has learned in his decision making and hoping his play has sped up to the NBA speed. It's going to be a work in progress, even after Bamba is drafted, but if he can model some of his offensive game off of Jayson Tatum and Joel Embiid, there is a good chance he will be very successful.

The NBA Draft is quickly approaching, and Bamba is one of the most intriguing prospects.
