Bronny James has reportedly been medically cleared to play in the NBA and is set to take part in this week's NBA Draft Combine in Chicago. He's also expected to stay in the 2024 NBA Draft after spending one season with USC basketball, so now the question is where he may get drafted.

Bronny did show up on ClutchPoints' 2024 NBA Draft Big Board 1.0, but there are no guarantees he will get drafted despite being LeBron James' son and the rumors about them potentially playing together. Bronny's freshman season at USC did not end with the success he had hoped after a cardiac arrest scare, though the Trojans did honor Bronny with a classy gesture recently.

Now, the prodigal son of the NBA's all-time leading scorer is ready to get after it at the NBA Draft Combine, a chance for him to show what he can do against some of the best competition in the sport. A strong week in Chicago could certainly help him rise of these rankings as the draft approaches.

Bronny James Ranked 90th on Top 100 List

Bronny James was rated as a four-star recruit in most circles and a top 30 to 50 player coming out of high school, and now he has cracked the top 100 of the top 2024 NBA Draft prospects list despite a statistically lean season with USC basketball. James ranks 90th overall on ClutchPoints' first 2024 NBA Draft Big Board.

A 6-foot-4, 190 pound guard with a 6-foot-8 wingspan, Bronny James was ranked just ahead of players like DJ Burns Jr. of North Carolina State and Walter Clayton Jr. of Florida.

Last season, Bronny James' statistics did not stand out in any one particular category. He averaged 4.8 points, 2.8 rebounds, and 2.1 assists per game on 36.6% shooting from the field in just over 19 minutes of game action on average. In his final game, a blowout loss to Arizona, Bronny James scored just three points in 22 minutes.

Will Bronny James Get Drafted by an NBA Team?

There have been rumors that the Lakers may be interested in taking a flier on Bronny James late in the draft to pair him with his famous father LeBron James. Los Angeles currently holds the No. 17 pick in the 2024 NBA Draft. That pick could go to the New Orleans Pelicans if they want it, but the expectation is the pick will defer to the 2025 draft. If the Lakers keep that pick, would they use it on Bronny despite his college struggles? Or would they look to use it in a trade for more proven help?

Los Angeles also holds the No. 55 pick in the draft.

Recently, the younger James was asked about the rumors, including whether he thinks he's going to get drafted, to which he replied, “I don't know yet,” with a smirk. Bronny was also asked about the smirk, to which he replied with the same four words, adding further mystery to his potential NBA Draft future.

Now that he has officially been cleared to play in the NBA and will participate in the NBA Draft Combine, he'll do all he can to improve his draft stock and try to prove he's worthy of not just being drafted but going in the first round.
