Projected first overall pick Zion Williamson has been receiving a ton of hype over the past year. His speed and athleticism as a big man has been instrumental for Duke's success as of late, and with March Madness looming, expect him to play better as the Blue Devils gun for the national championship.

Despite being a freshman, Williamson is undoubtedly one of the best college basketball players in the world right now. In fact, he's so good that he's already gained comparisons to none other than LeBron James.

Williamson was asked by GQ.com's Devin Gordon about being seen as the next LeBron, and he said he feels good about the comparisons, but that he also wants to have his own identity.

I mean, I appreciate the fact that people think that, but Michael Jordan’s Michael Jordan, LeBron’s LeBron, and they didn’t become who they were because they were compared to other people. I appreciate that people think that, give me the comparisons to LeBron, but I’m not LeBron. I’m myself. Before I got big I was playing point guard, so I’m kinda like a pass-first person. Some people tell me I should be more selfish, but that’s not me.

Zion is expected to go first or second overall in this year's draft should he declare to join. One of the possible destinations for him will be the New York Knicks, who are planning to not only acquire him, but also sign two superstars to max contracts.

No matter what happens, all eyes will be on Zion, especially when he moves to the NBA.
