The Cleveland Cavaliers and the Golden State Warriors have completed two games of the NBA Finals, and for a lot of people how they feel about the games is based on what the TV commentators say about the game.

Mike Breen, Jeff Van Gundy, and Mark Jackson are the commentators on ABC for these NBA Finals, and as Reddit user, RobdieRobbe points out, in Game 2 the commentary seemed to be very pro-Cavaliers.

The user pointed out that he does like the Warriors, but still laid out his reasons and a few plays where the commentators were clearly favoring the Cavaliers.

Steph can't buy a call to save his life and when he gets hacked by Clarkson, Golden State wrongfully gets the out of bounds makeup call?

JVG: “That's old school refereeing”. (And not a single replay of a Curry drive, so you could actually see if it was the right call)

One of the missed calls is When LeBron James threw Jordan Ball to the ground but wasn't called for the foul on the play, instead Bell was called for the foul.

Bell getting thrown to the ground by Lebron and getting a foul called on him?
Not a single word about that by these guys

There have been a lot of questions about if this series is rigged, and RobdieRobbe thinks that the commentary crew might be a big reason for that. They have complained a lot about the Cavaliers not getting calls, and they haven't talked much about the Warriors having calls missed against them too.

I just feel like the commentary of Van Gundy and Jackson has been one of the main reasons/the main reason why people are thinking that the refs have called the games in favor of the Warriors and why some people even bring up that this series is rigged.

And while they maybe had a case for game 1 (even though I thought that was overblown), I don't think that anyone who watched the game muted would think that the officiating in game 2 really favored Golden State.

It will be a thing to watch in the next few games if the mood of the announcers changes in the next few games, but after the first two games it seems like it is pro Cavaliers.
