Former Golden State Warriors big man David West is the latest to state his disbelief at how the Dubs were outplayed by the Toronto Raptors in Game 4 of the NBA Finals.

According to the retired former two-time All-Star, The Warriors did not look like themselves on Friday night, and that in his mind, The Dubs must look for a way to get through their current unfavorable predicament.

“You’ve just got to find it somewhere else,” David West continued, via Sam Amick of The Athletic. “They need somebody else to step up, have a career game, or a career three games now. They need it. But it was weird seeing them play like that. I don’t know. They just didn’t have – I thought Steph gave what he had in (Game) 3.”

West hit the head on the nail here. No one can question Stephen Curry's will and determination following a career performance in Game 3, but as it turns out, he looked worse for wear in Game 4.

A returning Klay Thompson provided a much needed boost for the Dubs, but as West explained, this was not enough against a formidable opponent in the Raptors.

“Klay came out and gave what he had, but Toronto is loaded.” He paused briefly for emphasis. “Loaded.”

There is some hope that Kevin Durant is able to return for Game 5, and at this point, he may be the hero West is asking for here, and the one Golden State so desperately need at the moment.
