Despite a gutting Game 4 defeat that saw them fall 3-1 behind against the Toronto Raptors, the belief among the Golden State Warriors remains unwavering.

Dubs big man Kevon Looney is the latest to exhibit Golden State's unshakable desire to win, as he described how teammate Draymond Green gave out a very inspiring message following their 105-92 defeat on Friday night.

“Draymond gave a great speech,” Looney continued, via Sam Amick of The Athletic. “He made sure we had our heads up, said ‘Stay confident, know who we are. We didn’t get here by quitting and pouting or giving up.”

The Warriors aren't champions in three of the last four seasons for nothing. They have been through adversity before, and they have proven time and again that they indeed have the heart of a champion.

Then again, they have definitely not been in a deeper hole than they currently are in today. Looney went on to admit that the odds are stacked against them now, but that this underdog label might just be the extra motivation the Warriors need to pull off an amazing comeback.

“We always believe, and we’ve got a bunch of guys who have been underdogs and who have been counted out before,’ he explained. “I think we’re going to embrace this challenge more. Everybody probably thinks we’re going to lose now. And being the underdog again, like we haven’t been in a long time, it’s fun. We’ll try to go out there and prove everybody wrong.”

It is without question that the Raptors are now the heavy favorites to lift the title, but we simply cannot count out the Warriors just yet. As Looney so optimistically expressed, Golden State have been handed a tremendous opportunity here to immortalize their legacy if they are indeed able to miraculously still win this series.
