Golden State Warriors sharpshooting guard Klay Thompson ripped Toronto Raptors fans for cheering after Kevin Durant suffered an Achilles injury.

Per Ethan Strauss of The Athletic, Thompson said that he couldn't even spell out how furious he was once the fans started cheering while Durant was on the floor, clutching the lower part of his leg.

“It was bullshit. That was freaking ridiculous. I can’t even put into words how mad I was about that.”

While Durant was on the floor, Raptors fans were cheering — one even waved goodbye at Durant in a truly classless act. However, as the cheers got louder, both Warriors and Raptors players signaled the crowd to stop their antics.

Thompson himself can be seen evidently disgusted by the crowd's behavior. This is not a laughing matter as it concerns the career of Durant.

Thankfully, their efforts paid off right away. As Durant was assisted to the locker room, the crowd at Scotiabank Arena started clapping for the two-time Finals MVP and even chanted “KD! KD!”

Durant's injury was diagnosed as an Achilles tear, although the extent has yet to be determined. Given this fact, it's safe to assume that he'll be out of the NBA Finals.

The series is now at 3-2. Game 6 will be at Oracle Arena on Thursday, June 13.
