Los Angeles Lakers' rising star Kyle Kuzma recently posted some cryptic tweets on Twitter after changing his avatar on the said social media platform to a picture of him guarding upcoming free agent Kyrie Irving. Cleveland Cavaliers guard Jordan Clarkson recently joined the fun, and now, it's Julius Randle's turn.

It is worth noting that Randle is a free agent, after declining his $9 million player option to return to the Pelicans. By posting the said Tweet, is Julius looking at a possible return to Los Angeles?

No, probably not. Pretty much like Kyle Kuzma, Randle might just be having fun at the expense of his fans, who are still hoping that he comes back to the Lakers. But remember when he joined the Pelicans last season and he immediately said it was the first time for him to play defense? Well, that's a shot at the Lakers right there.

Also, Randle will not want to take less money to rejoin the Lakers, not after arguably the best season of his five-year career.

Randle averaged a career-best 21.4 points and 8.7 rebounds for the Pels last season. So it is expected that he will attract a lot of suitors this summer. It is unclear if the Lakers will be interested in paying him what he wants, considering that they already have Davis.

However, if the Lakers strike out on that third star this summer, they might use their cap space to bring two-three role players, and Randle could be one of them.

A lot of Laker fans still miss Randle's energy and hustle on the floor. He was once part of the team's celebrated young core, and people wish that the Lakers never let him go last season.
