The annual front office survey is upon us with the start of the regular season only a week away and general managers around the league responded to 48 different questions about the best teams, players, coaches, fans, offseason moves, amongst other topics.

They were not allowed to vote for their own team or personnel. Percentages are based on the pool of respondents to that particular question, rather than all 30 GMs.

Minnesota Timberwolves center Karl-Anthony Towns was voted the player most GMs would like to start a team with, winning the vote with 48.3 percent. This is quite the feat, as the survey was nearly unanimous last year as New Orleans Pelicans forward/center Anthony Davis took 86.2 percent of the vote and Towns has only one year of pro experience under his belt. That just goes to show how big of an impression a player can make in one year.

Towns put up some monster numbers on his way to a Rookie of the Year award, averaging 18.3 points, 10.5 rebounds, 2.0 assists, and 1.7 blocks per game while shooting an impressive 54.2 percent from the floor.

Golden State‘s Kevin Durant finished second in the survey with 20.7 percent and LeBron James was third with 17.2 percent of the votes.

Last year's winner Davis also received votes, along with Stephen Curry, Russell Westbrook and Kawhi Leonard.
