One of the strongest draft classes the NBA has ever seen in the last 20 years came in 2003 when LeBron James, Dwyane Wade, Carmelo Anthony, and Chris Bosh were selected in the the top five which brought us some of the best players the game has ever seen.

Last summer seems to have presented another gold mine rookie class, many of whom excelled against the odds this season. Jayson Tatum, Donovan Mitchell, and Ben Simmons have had wildly exceptional rookie seasons which we've seen and marveled at, and the stats back them up.

They've given us every reason to believe they are special, and along with the fact that these players have developed at such high levels so quickly and unexpectedly, they've managed to post the highest plus-minus among rookies in the last 20 years.

The numbers only confirm the excitement we've experienced this year, and as another generation of stars prepares to leave the game, new ones will be coming to carry the torch into the next decade.

The future of the league looks bright as these players will only continue to get better and will likely be competing against each other for NBA Championships.
