The Ukrainian National Team bolstered their ranks on Monday morning, as Alex Len and Svi Mykhailiuk have been added to the team's roster for FIBA's World Cup qualifiers in September.

The Ukrainian Basketball Federation announced that Len and Mykhailiuk will be available to play in the upcoming qualifying games against Spain and Montenegro, according to a report from EuroHoops.

Len, now 25 years of age, is a 7-foot-1 center who recently signed a two-year, $8.5 million contract with the Atlanta Hawks. The Antratsyt native was taken with the fifth overall pick in the 2013 NBA Draft by the Phoenix Suns. It will be his first run with the Ukrainian National Team since he left for the United States in 2011.

In 69 appearances with the Suns last season, Len racked up averages of 8.5 points on 56.6 percent shooting from the field (33.0 percent from beyond the arc), 7.5 rebounds, 1.2 assists, and just under one block (0.9) in 20.2 minutes per outing.

Mykhailiuk, 21, is a promising young forward. The Los Angeles Lakers selected the Cherkasy native with the 47th overall pick in this year's draft. He officially signed a three-year, $4.6 million rookie scale contract with the Lakers on June 21.

Mykhailiuk spent four years with the Kansas Jayhawks, where he earned second-team All-Big 12 honors as a senior. During that senior year at Kansas, the 6-foot-8 swingman recorded a new school record for 3-pointers made in a season (115).

In 136 games played with the Jayhawks, Mykhailiuk recorded averages of 8.7 points on 42.8 percent shooting (40.9 percent from downtown), 2.5 rebounds, and 1.5 assists in 22.6 minutes.
