Once considered one of the most dynamic big men in the league, a slew of injuries got in the way of Amar'e Stoudemire's NBA legacy. However, based on his recent social media activity, the former ninth overall pick appears to be on the comeback trail.

Stoudemire recently posted a photo of himself on his Instagram account, accompanied by a caption stating “NBA ready !!”

After his recent participation in the BIG3's sophomore season, it seems that Stoudemire has set his sights on a return to the NBA. Now, whether or not there are any teams that will show interest on the 35-year-old is an altogether different question.

After being drafted by the Suns in the 2002 draft, The 6-foot-10 forward center spent the first eight years of his career in Phoenix. This is where he played at his best alongside the likes of back-to-back MVP winner Steve Nash and four-time All-Star Shawn Marion.

In 2010, Stoudemire was traded to the New York Knicks. He was a stud in his debut season with the Knicks, and even got voted to the All-Star team. However, with the occurrence of several injuries, it was all pretty much downhill from there.

Father Time is working against Stoudemire and his intended return to the NBA, while his oft-injured body won't be doing him any favors. Nevertheless, with the experience he can bring to the table, there might be a few teams that decide to take a second look.
