The dust has barely settled on the Los Angeles Lakers' demolition job of the Denver Nuggets in Game 1 of the Western Conference Finals on Friday and already, Inside the NBA host Charles Barkley has brought out the broom to clean up.

In true Charles Barkley fashion, the Hall of Famer has come out with yet another controversial prediction. This time around, he's taking L.A. to perform a clean sweep on Denver in the West Finals:

Barkley has not been very reliable with his guarantees, and this season has been no different. He also brought out the broom earlier in the postseason, as he called the Portland Trail Blazers sweeping the Lakers in the first round following Portland's surprise Game 1 victory against L.A. We all know how that turned out.

Then again, Barkley does have a point with his latest prediction here. The Lakers absolutely dominated the Nuggets in the series opener, and the final score of 126-114 is actually quite flattering for Denver. L.A. pretty much had their way against the Nuggets in this one, and if this trend continues, Barkley might just be on to something here.

Anthony Davis was a man on a mission on Friday, logging a game-high 37 points on 12-of-21 shooting for the Lakers. He also logged 10 boards, and four assists, as he led L.A. to a very impressive Game 1 victory.

As for Denver, both Nikola Jokic and Jamal Murray were bothered by foul trouble in this one, but they both still managed 21 points apiece. It clearly wasn't enough against the Lakers, though, and they will need to be much better in Game 2 on Saturday.
