Charles Barkley did an outstanding job commentating on Capital One's The Match On Thursday. His combination of witty remarks and sensible analysis was just what the audience needed as they watched Aaron Rodgers and Tom Brady take down the young guns in Patrick Mahomes and Josh Allen.

Unsurprisingly, the day did not come to an end without Barkley taking a shot at longtime nemesis and NBA on TNT co-host Shaquille O'Neal. Once Shaq's name was randomly brought up in the broadcast, Chuck could not help but fire a shot at the Los Angeles Lakers icon:

“That's the good thing about golf, I don't have to be around that idiot,” Barkley said, via Bleacher Report on Twitter.

When asked why he would come out with such a negative sentiment on a beautiful day, Chuck responded by saying that the day is “more beautiful when Shaq's not here.”

At this point, it feels like Barkley and Shaq go at it at every given opportunity just to get the audience riled up. However, there's also no denying that there appears to be some deep underlying bad blood between these two. What I can say for sure is that Charles Barkley and Shaquille O'Neal are not best friends by any stretch of the imagination.
