Derrick Rose is looking for a chance to be on his third team of the year, but now it looks like that chance will have to happen after the All-Star Break. According to Marc Stein of The New York Times:

With the All-Star break fast approaching, league sources say it’s increasingly possible Derrick Rose’s future won’t be resolved until after the break when teams resume practicing

How many choices he is going to have to choose from is up for debate, but it seems like he will at least have a couple of choices.

One option according to Stein is,

The Timberwolves will try to sign Derrick Rose if he clears waivers after his looming release by Utah, according to league sources

Another option according to Adrian Wojnarowski‏ of ESPN:

One team expected to survey the possibility of signing Derrick Rose, league sources tell ESPN: The Washington Wizards. John Wall still has several more weeks of rehab following knee surgery.

Both of these teams need a little more point guard depth as they push for the playoffs. Coach Tom Thibodeau has a familiarity with Rose, as he was the coach when Rose was the starting point guard of the Bulls.

They enjoyed a lot of success together including 2011 when Rose won the league MVP. That year he averaged 25 points, 7.7 assists and 4.1 rebounds per game.

Since that point, though Rose has dealt with a lot of injuries and his play hasn't been the same. If he can stay healthy though he could be a good back up and give a team some good depth in the playoffs.
