Rudy Gobertāthe Utah Jazz stalwart who won his third DPOY awardāheadlines the group. The Sixers have three players combined between the two teams, showing the emphasis from head coach Doc Rivers. Matisse Thybulle has become a young stud on Philly's defensive unit, and they have their hands full against Trae Young and the Atlanta Hawks.
The Eastern Conference has seven of the 10 from the two teams combinedm as Kawhi Leonard, Gobert and Draymond Greenā who has become a staple on the listārepresented the Western Conference.
The Sixers duo of Embiid and Ben Simmons were passed on for the NBA MVP and DPOY award, respectively. However, the Sixers are still alive in the playoffs, as are the Bucks and the Los Angeles Clippers, so perhaps that helps mend the wounds a little bit.
