NBA legend Isiah Thomas once again snubbed Chicago Bulls icon Michael Jordan in the GOAT debate with his latest praise of LeBron James.

Not only does Thomas have Kareem Abdul-Jabbar over Jordan in his GOAT rankings, but the Detroit Pistons great said James will surpass Abdul-Jabbar one day.

Via Justin Barrasso of Sports Illustrated:

“I admire his insatiable appetite to be on top and stay on top,” Thomas said of LeBron.

“I’ve never seen a player dominate so many statistical categories. We’ve had players dominate certain areas, but we’ve never seen a player that truly does it all. And he’s done it, without fail, for 17 years. For now, Kareem is the best that’s ever done it. But by the time he’s done, LeBron James will be the best we have ever seen play the game of basketball.”

As most NBA fans know, Michael Jordan and Isiah Thomas aren't friends. The Bulls and Pistons had a fierce rivalry back in the day, during which Thomas' Pistons beat up Jordan and the Bulls during the “Bad Boys” era.

Jordan and Thomas have respect for each other's games, but MJ will likely never forgive Zeke for what the legendary point guard did in Game 4 of the 1991 Eastern Conference Finals. Thomas and the Pistons walked off the floor with time still left on the clock and didn't shake Jordan and the Bulls' hands.

LeBron James has a good chance to win his fourth NBA championship this season at Walt Disney World. The King is the only player in league history to rank top-10 all-time in both points and assists and he has already passed Jordan and Kobe Bryant on the NBA's all-time scoring list.

However, James won't be able to match Jordan's winning percentage in the NBA Finals, as His Airness went 6-0 with the Bulls during the '90s.
