NBA veterans Jamal Crawford and JR Smith are available for teams to sign for the resumption of the 2019-20 season in Orlando, Florida, per Shams Charania of The Athletic and Stadium.

Since Crawford and Smith signed an NBA deal in the previous year, they are eligible to play at Walt Disney World despite not suiting up in a single game before the 2019-20 season was initially suspended in March.

Jamal Crawford played for the Phoenix Suns in 2018-19. He appeared in 64 games and compiled averages of 7.9 points, 1.3 rebounds and 3.6 assists while shooting 39.7 percent from the field, 33.2 percent from beyond the arc and 84.5 percent from the free-throw line.

A three-time Sixth Man of the Year winner, Crawford scored 51 points on April 9, 2019 against the Dallas Mavericks.

Meanwhile, JR Smith only played in 11 games with the Cleveland Cavaliers last season. He was exiled from the team after 11 games and eventually got waived after the Cavs couldn't find a trade partner. Smith put up 6.7 points while shooting 30.8 percent from deep. He still hasn't recovered — publicly at least — from his epic blunder in Game 1 of the 2018 Finals against the Golden State Warriors.

Crawford and Smith will probably both be linked to the Los Angeles Lakers since the Purple and Gold are always in the rumor mill. It will be interesting if either scorer gets a call from a team before the games resume in sunny Florida.
