NBA legends Magic Johnson and Larry Bird were featured in the introduction of Game 5 of World Series between the LA Dodgers and the Boston Red Sox.

As observed, they compared the two sports and reminisced a bit on their storied rivalry when they were still playing. As expected, they gave each other some light ribbing as well. After all, they gave each other a healthy dose of trash talking in their playing days.
To recall, when they were members of the Los Angeles Lakers and the Boston Celtics, Johnson and Bird, respectively, were considered two of the best players in the league.
Their respective franchises had their own rivalries going. But Magic Johnson and Larry Bird had their own personal duel as well. Outside the court, however, the two were the best of friends. At one point, they even shot a commercial together.
For basketball fans who grew up in the 80s, the feature is a great sight to behold. There's nothing like seeing you heroes face to face with each other. Though they've grown old and not holding a basketball in their hands, it still reminds us of the good old days.
Thanks to the Red Sox, fans out in Boston are once against in a cheerful manner.
