Despite being two years removed from his final season in the NBA, the ever-colorful Matt Barnes does not appear to have lost a single ounce of his intensity and ferociousness on the court.

The 39-year-old, who now serves as the coach of his son's basketball team, was recently thrown out of a ballgame. While the details of his ejection were not revealed, it's not hard to imagine that Barnes must have said something untoward to the game officials, which caused him his evening on the floor.

However, in true Matt Barnes fashion, the former NBA champ would not be outdone. Instead of vacating the premises, Barnes decided to carry on with his coaching duties from outside the gym. We're not making this up, and we have the video to prove it, courtesy of Barnes himself:

This is pretty hilarious, and the look on Barnes' face makes this even more of a trip. It looks like he regretted how things turned out, and perhaps he would have acted differently if given a second chance. Then again, this is Matt Barnes we're talking about here, so that's probably too much to ask.

What could have brought Barnes down was how he served as a terrible example to the young kids he was coaching. Sportsmanship is indeed one of the most important traits any athlete must imbibe, and as proven by this incident, this is probably not something they could learn from Coach Matt Barnes.
