Throughout his 17-year NBA career, Metta World Peace proved himself as one of the best on-ball defenders in the league while exuding copious amounts of toughness and hustle.

So when the four-time All-Defensive team selection lists his top 10 players (in no particular order) he has ever guarded on Twitter, it's safe to say that he knows what he talks about.

Coming in at number one, World Peace lists Mike Chatsfield, a talented player from Queens who struggled with growing up in the projects and was shot dead at 31.

At number two, World Peace places his former teammate and NBA legend Kobe Bryant. Bryant, who tragically died in a helicopter accident this past January, is widely considered one of the best players in league history.

For number three, World Peace lists a player named “Strip” from New York City but is not given an actual name.

At four, five and six, World Peace puts three-time All-Star Richard “Rip” Hamilton and then follows him up with two absolute legends in Michael Jordan and LeBron James.

The rest of World Peace's list is full of non-professional ballers from New York, where Artest is from.

The 17-year veteran lists “DP from NYC” for number seven, Paul McPherson, who played one season with the Golden State Warriors and Phoenix Suns, Sherron Brown from New York City and Junior Sanders.

Metta World Peace mentions that his list is regardless of what league the players played in, but he added that several of the New York City legends he mentioned would constantly give him trouble in his prime.
