When NBA legends Michael Jordan and Kobe Bryant faced off for the final time in March of 2003 at Staples Center, there was an iconic moment that took place between the two Hall of Famers.

Bryant took Jordan one-on-one on a Los Angeles Lakers offensive possession, but MJ read Kobe's drive perfectly to draw an offensive foul.

After the charge, Bryant stood over Jordan before helping the Washington Wizards guard up. NBA fans have always wanted to know what His Airness said to the Black Mamba that had both guys laughing.

Luckily for NBA aficionados, actor John Cusack was at the game and had courtside seats right next to the play. He recently told Jimmy Kimmel what Jordan said to Bryant, and it's priceless.

The Lakers won the game behind 55 points from Kobe Bryant, who made it a point to outduel his hero. Michael Jordan, meanwhile, finished with 23 points in the Wizards' 108-94 loss.

Stories such as this one will certainly keep Bryant's legacy alive even though the NBA great is sadly no longer with us. Kobe did everything he could to emulate Jordan on the basketball court and his efforts were excellent, as the five-time NBA champion is arguably the closest player we will ever see to MJ.

At Bryant's public memorial earlier this year, Jordan was in tears as he talked about his younger brother. The NBA world may never truly recover from Bryant's death, but we will always have great memories of him.
