Incoming Duke freshman Zion Williamson is a freak of nature. He is currently listed at  6-foot-7 and weighs 285 pounds. Will this affect his performance on the court and eventually hamper his career in the NBA?

As far as head coach Mike Krzyzewski is concerned, he is not a bit worried. Coach K knows the hype surrounding the young recruit but as long as Zion is still ballin' on the court, he shrugs the notion that the freshman needs to trim down.

Krzyzewski noted that Williamson still possess the wordly athleticism that makes him unique. As Ryan Nagelhout reported for Uproxx, the former USA basketball head coach clarified that the high-dunker's heavy weight is not what it seems. ”

We’re not talking about someone who has excess body fat. This is a kid that’s in pretty darn good shape and just has a man’s mass,” he added.

Just look at the kid's highlight here:

Zion is built like a tank that the NCAA has never seen before. He can outjump and outrun his peers and he is very smart on the court, as professed by his coach. As the season goes, he may still shed some weight but that is not the priority of the Blue Devils. Duke Basketball will surely be fun to watch this season.
