Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James air a reaction to Harrison Barnes being traded by the Dallas Mavericks. James commented on the timing of Barnes' trade and his words elicited a sign of approval from the New Orleans Pelicans' Anthony Davis.

For the past few weeks or so, all the buzz across the league has been the Davis saga. The Lakers have been at the forefront of these rumors. They've reportedly offered nearly all of their assets to acquire the superstar big man. This includes Lonzo Ball, Brandon Ingram, and Kyle Kuzma along with multiple picks. In the remaining hours before the deadline, it's on Magic Johnson and Rob Pelinka to get a deal done with the Pelicans.

The Mavs trading Harrison Barnes to the Sacramento Kings relieved them of the burden that is the former North Carlina Tar Heel's contract. He is expected to pick up his $25 million player option for 2019-20, knowing it would be impossible to earn that much in a new deal anywhere.

For the Kings, this move screams win now. They really need an athletic wing who can run on the break and hit from deep. Barnes has always been a solid role player, even during his time with the Golden State Warriors. He gives the Kings some veteran leadership moving forward.
