New Orleans Pelicans forward Zion Williamson and Chicago Bulls guard Coby White have been named the NBA's Rookies of the Month for February.

Williamson has been putting up historically great numbers through his first 15 NBA games. The No. 1 overall pick in last summer's NBA draft averaged 25.7 points, 6.2 rebounds and 2.6 assists in February. For the Bulls, White averaged 20.1 points, 4.0 rebounds and 4.1 assists in nine games last month. He shot 43.3 percent from the field, 41.1 percent from beyond the arc and 93.5 percent from the free-throw line:

Williamson is averaging 24.1 points, 6.8 rebounds and 2.1 assists overall on the season while shooting 59.3 percent from the floor, 41.7 percent from the 3-point line and 64.8 percent from the charity stripe.

It would be a great story if Zion Williamson is able to lead the Pelicans to the postseason after missing the beginning of the season due to his knee surgery. New Orleans is 26-34 on the season. The Pelicans are 3.5 games back of the Memphis Grizzlies for the 8th spot.

White is putting up 12.6 points, 3.5 rebounds and 2.5 assists per game this season. He has played in every game for Chicago.

Coby White and the Bulls are 21-40 on the season. They are in 11th place in the Eastern Conference standings and six games back of the Brooklyn Nets for the eighth and final playoff spot.
