The Duke Blue Devils are going to be appointment viewing this upcoming season because of the incredible amount of talent on the roster. College basketball better be ready for Cam Reddish, Zion Williamson, and R.J. Barrett at the same time.

Barrett is currently the top prospect on ESPN's 2019 draft board, while Reddish and Williamson are both in the top 10. Barrett lived up to the hype during his first appearance in a Duke uniform, going for 34 points in an exhibition game earlier this week.

In a recent interview with TSN, Barrett was asked about his future in the NBA and said he's not concerned about it yet.

“I’m gonna go through this year and then see what happens.”

Although his current sentiments are to evaluate options after his freshman year at Duke, it would be shocking if he didn't enter the draft.

Legendary Duke coach Mike Krzyzewski also discussed Barrett's future.

“He’s an NBA player if he went right out of high school, but he'll be a better NBA player after spending a year in our program. That’s our goal.”

Even with the NBA horizon just within arm’s reach of Barrett, we have to patiently wait and see how his freshman year goes and where he ends up after the season is over. Sit back and enjoy the ride at Duke.
