Toronto Raptors big man Serge Ibaka has been suspended three games by the NBA for his altercation with Cleveland Cavaliers forward Marquese Chriss, according to Shams Charania of The Atheltic.

Chriss was suspended one game. The fight took place on Monday in Cleveland.

Ibaka was trying to catch a full-court pass and fell while Chriss was guarding him. Chriss said something to Ibaka and the veteran center got up right away and grabbed the Cavs' forward by the neck.

Both players started punching each other before they were separated.

Serge Ibaka will lose $448,000, while Marquese Chriss will lose $22,000, according to salary cap guru Albert Nahmad.

Ibaka is making $21,666,667 this season. Chriss, meanwhile, is earning $3,206,160.

Serge Ibaka has gotten into a lot of fights during his NBA career. The 29-year-old clearly lost his cool on Monday and didn't hold back.

Marquese Chriss got into a fight last season against the Utah Jazz when he was playing for the Phoenix Suns. He also got into a minor tussle with Kristaps Porzingis during the 2016-17 season when KP was with the New York Knicks.

The biggest shock from Monday was that the Cavs defeated the Raptors. Toronto has the second-best record in the East, while Cleveland is one of the worst teams in the NBA.
