Shaquille O’Neal and Charles Barkley were bitter on-court rivals during their decorated NBA careers throughout the 1990s, though Barkley’s career started nine years prior to O’Neal’s. In fact, by the time Shaq played his first NBA game, Barkely had already made seven All-Star teams — and would make four more before his career was over.
Despite that, Barkley’s career is not remembered as fondly as O’Neal’s due to the fact that he was never able to win that elusive NBA championship.
Barkley was also criticized throughout his playing career due to his lack of conditioning, which mostly revolved around his diet during his playing days. Any player that has various nicknames of The Prince of Pizza, The Round Mound of Rebound, The Chuck Wagon and The Bread Truck must enjoy some tasty dishes every now and again.
As expected, this fact did not escape the omnipresent gaze of eminent trash-talker O’Neal, who has a keen eye for roasting his fellow cast members on Inside the NBA. On Monday, Shaq took that roasting to another level by posting an amusing video on Instagram with a caption “Chuck trying to get sexy for the summer.”
