Tobias Harris and Boban Marjanovic are known to be good friends ever since they were teammates with the Los Angeles Clippers. When they were acquired by the Philadelphia 76ers during the trade deadline last season, NBA fans hoped that they will be staying with the team for a long time.

Well, that happened with Harris, as he signed a five-year deal to stay with the Sixers. Unfortunately, Marjanovic had other plans in mind as he decided to take his talents to Texas and join the Dallas Mavericks.

Shortly after hearing Boban's move, both he and Harris had an emotional exchange on Twitter.

Although Harris and Marjanovic have carved different paths in their careers, they remained really good friends. But as the old adage says, it's business as usual in the NBA.

Harris is expected to be one of the Sixers' cornerstones next season, especially after the departure of Jimmy Butler. He will shoulder a bigger responsibility on both ends of the floor, and he's going to be Philly's second option on offense.

As for Marjanovic, he will definitely be a backup center for the Mavericks, but it wouldn't be a surprise to see him start in some of their games as well. Boban has the size and skill to be a decent player for Dallas, and he's going to be a part of one of the most exciting Western Conference teams next season.

Over the past couple of years, Bobi and Tobi have shared the court as teammates. But next season, they will be competing against each other.

But once the games are over, they will still be good friends.
