Veteran sport analyst Skip Bayless has several issues with Sports Illustrated's Top 100 NBA players, particularly with LeBron James landing on the third spot and Kevin Durant not being included in the list.

Bayless expressed his confusion why Durant was not on the list, considering that he's still the best player in the league. To note, SI didn't include the new Brooklyn Nets superstar because of his Achilles injury that will likely keep him out for the whole 2019-20 campaign.

The FOX Sports commentator then went to say that LeBron doesn't to be deserve to be a Top 10 player, much more No.3. He believes that the Los Angeles Lakers forward is overrated and only made it to the top three because of his reputation.

Indeed, it could have been a different story had Kevin Durant stayed healthy for the Warriors. While he is not on the SI ranking, the Nets forward could easily be on the Top 3 or 5 of the list.

As for LeBron James, Skip did raise some interesting points. After all, the Lakers failed to make the playoffs in LeBron's first year with the team. Not to mention that LBJ only made it to the All-NBA third team, which means that there were at least 10 players who were better than him throughout the 2018-19 campaign.

LeBron certainly has a lot to prove next season, and while he doesn't need to prove anything, plenty of Lakers fans are expecting big things from him in 2019-20.
