Former NBA star Derek Fisher joined the long list of people who are calling for better treatment for WNBA player, as he blasted what he thinks is an improper treatment for women athletes.

Fisher, who is now the head coach of the Los Angeles Sparks, took to Instagram to express his thoughts on what WNBA players are going through. He posted a picture of his players with their luggage inside an airport after winning against the Minnesota Lynx. He said that WNBA players are not being treated like the “best athletes in the world.”

TNT's Kristen Ledlow reacted to Fisher's post, saying that she is with Fisher in calling for a change. Las Vegas Aces superstar Liz Cambage also took time to react on Fisher's take on WNBA players treatment. Cambage has already aired her frustration last year.

Cambage said that the league has to work on a better travel conditions for all teams. The Australian superstar also called for better compensation, saying that it is very frustrating to know that an NBA referee is earning more than a WNBA player, and the salary of a bench players in the NBA is usually even bigger than a WNBA team's entire salary.
