Several NBA players have decided to take part in the protests fighting for justice for the recent death of George Floyd at the hands of Minneapolis police. Philadelphia 76ers star Tobias Harris, Boston Celtics swingman Jaylen Brown and New York Knicks point guard Dennis Smith Jr. were just some of the names that opted to take the streets to voice out their anger over recent events.

Harris joined the march in Philadelphia and even FaceTimed his teammate Mike Scott, who himself has been quite vocal about his feelings over Floyd's death.

Perhaps the most active among all NBA players in all this is Brown. The 23-year-old has been using his social media platform to speak out for what he deems to be the worst form of social injustice, and on Saturday, he walked the walk by joining the protest in Atlanta.

Brown streamed parts of the march on his Instagram Live, and as it turns out, he was joined by fellow NBA player and Atlanta native Malcolm Brogdon of the Indiana Pacers.

Over in North Carolina, Dennis Smith Jr. was spotted as part of the masses that came out to show their support for Floyd. The NBA guard was photographed standing alongside renowned Fayetteville-based rapper J. Cole.

These are prime examples of NBA players using their platform to fight for what they believe in. They may be one among thousands in the march, but they are also hoping that their influence goes beyond to spark action.
