Former NBA big man Lamar Odom once blew $120,000 in one night.

Odom told Graham Bensinger about the crazy story:

Odom played in the NBA from 2000-13. He played for the Los Angeles Clippers, Miami Heat, Los Angeles Lakers and Dallas Mavericks. The lefty finished his career with averages of 13.3 points, 8.4 rebounds and 3.7 assists in 961 games.

Odom won two titles with the Lakers. He was also the 2011 Sixth Man of the Year.

Odom made millions of dollars during his playing career, so he was able to blow $120,000 in one night because it's pretty meaningless in the long-run.

Now 40, Lamar Odom appears to have his life together again after going through some dangerous health issues a couple of years ago. He had six strokes and 12 heart attacks while he was in a coma following a well-publicized overdose.

Odom was deactivated from Ice Cube's BIG3 league last season. He was not “up to it from a competitive standpoint,” a source told ESPN at the time. The BIG3 did not specify a reason for the deactivation of Odom, saying only that the moves were tied to the league's desire to maximize competition, protect the health of the players and to raise the level of the professionalism of the BIG3.
