Retired NBA player Stephen Jackson shared his thoughts on the recent scuffle between Los Angeles Lakers veteran Rajon Rondo and Houston Rockets All-Star guard Chris Paul.

On his Instagram account, Jackson posted a video to give out his opinion on the fourth-quarter incident during the Rockets-Lakers game, which led to ejections and subsequent multiple game suspensions for Paul, Rondo, and Brandon Ingram.

Jackson addressed those commenting on LeBron James and the fact that he didn't get into the fight to protect his teammates, but instead stepped in to drag his friend Chris Paul out of the scuffle. According to Jackson, that is what James was supposed to do considering that Paul is his close friend.

Also, Jackson commended Ingram for stepping up to protect his teammates. Based on his own personal experience, he shared that he's seen a lot of people run away when things get extra physical on the basketball court.

To conclude his video, Jackson gave a shout-out to the referees for controlling the situation before it got completely out of hand. He briefly mentioned the infamous brawl in 2004 between the Indiana Pacers and the Detroit Pistons.

Stephen Jackson was a member of the Pacers that time, during which he ran all the way up to the stands to protect his teammate Ron Artest (now Metta World Peace). He got tagged with a 30-game suspension along with a hefty fine.
