The NBA trade rumors are in full swing as the free agency period looms large on the league. One big name, literally and figuratively that's likely to change uniforms is Utah Jazz center Rudy Gobert.

The three-time DPOY has been linked to the Chicago Bulls for weeks now based on the rumblings in the NBA trade rumor mill. According to NBA insider Matt Moore, the Bulls remain the “odds-on favorite” for the Jazz star's services. But another team may post a serious threat to their efforts.

The Bulls should be the odds-on favorite for what team Gobert is on next season, even including the Jazz.
The Minnesota Timberwolves are a considerable threat to one-up the Bulls as the Timberwolves continue to look for a veteran center to pair with Karl-Anthony Towns.

The offense-defense combo of KAT and Gobert is an attractive option for the Timberwolves. After making the NBA playoffs last season, they could upend the trade rumors pointing Gobert to Chicago with an offer of their own.

The Towns-Center pairing has been a surprise in conversations, but new President of Basketball Operations Tim Connelly is convinced that the best way to maximize the roster is to put Towns next to a defensive force who can protect the rim and control the glass.

The real winner is the Utah Jazz, who can leverage the opposing sides into a bidding war to get the most out of their asset in Gobert.
