The Cleveland Cavaliers continue to find a trade suitor who will be willing to acquire center Andre Drummond before the league's trade deadline on March 25. Amid all the talk, there is speculation that the three-time All-Star is also welcoming a trade to the New York Knicks.

Via Marc Berman of the New York Post:

“According to a source, Drummond, a Mount Vernon native and impending free agent, would consider the Knicks a good landing spot.”

On Monday morning, reports have emerged that the Toronto Raptors are already engaging in talks to land the services of Drummond. However, the Knicks can also beat them to it if they could offer a better package on the table to the Cavaliers in the coming days.

Apart from being a New York native himself, Drummond can fit right in with the Knicks as they are currently dealing with the absence of starting center Mitchell Robinson due to a fractured right hand.

Due to the situation, head coach Tom Thibodeau was forced to rely on the production of backup center Nerlens Noel and veteran forward Taj Gibson in the paint. Although they have been winning games as of late, bringing Drummond at the helm will certainly serve as a boost in their upcoming contests.

The 27-year-old big man is currently averaging 17.5 points, 13.5 rebounds, and 1.2 blocks through 25 games played in Cleveland. He is currently playing on the last season of a five-year, $127 million contract signed with the Detroit Pistons back in 2016-17.

Andre Drummond will reportedly sit out the rest of the games with the Cavaliers until he gets to be traded to another team.
