The Los Angeles Clippers have a stacked roster, but they're still exploring the market for upgrades in the frontcourt and on the wing as they battle concerns over the health of superstars Kawhi Leonard and Paul George, according to Marc Stein of The New York Times. The Clippers are also reportedly concerned about a “lack of muscle” in the frontcourt compared to the Los Angeles Lakers.

The Clippers have been resting Leonard in back-to-back scenarios throughout this season, as he has been managing a knee ailment. The former San Diego State standout is currently listed as day-to-day.

In his 34 appearances with the Clippers this season, Leonard has racked up averages of 27.1 points on 46.6 percent shooting from the field (35.5 percent from beyond the arc), 7.4 rebounds, 5.0 assists and 2.0 steals in 32.2 minutes per contest.

George, on the other hand, has been recovering from a left hamstring injury he re-aggravated earlier this season. He hasn't played since the Clippers' win over the Knicks on Jan. 5. Like Leonard, George is listed as day-to-day.

George has played 26 games this season, averaging 23.5 points on 42.9 percent shooting (39.5 percent from downtown), 6.0 rebounds, 3.7 assists and 1.5 steals in 30.7 minutes per outing.

LA will take a cautious approach with regards to the recovery of both Leonard and George, as they are key pieces to the team's championship aspirations. Names such as Thaddeus Young and Robert Covington have been mentioned as potential targets, and the Clippers will continue to scour the market for upgrades.

The Clippers will be back in action on Friday night, when they face off against the Miami Heat. Tip-off inside AmericanAirlines Arena is set for 8:00 p.m. ET, with ESPN having live broadcast coverage.

Let's see if the Clippers make a move ahead of this season's trade deadline.
