With training camp still waiting around the corner, NBA players have to keep themselves busy through individual workouts and playing pick-up games. Such was the case for Philadelphia 76ers center Joel Embiid, Boston Celtics swingman Jayson Tatum, and Cleveland Cavaliers combo guard Jordan Clarkson.

The three young stars were seen playing a pick-up game along with famous rapper 2 Chainz.

Tatum is seen doing his signature silky step-back jumper, while Embiid puts the rock into the hoop the way he knows best by backing down the lane. Clarkson can also be seen coming off the screen for a drive-and-a-hoop in the middle. 2 Chainz is no slouch either as he uses the old reliable pump-fake to create space from the defender.

This pick-up game comes just days after Embiid made a trip to the continent of Africa for the NBA Africa Game 2018. The Sixers' young big man joined forces with other international NBA players to give African fans a competitive game to watch. Danilo Gallinari of the L.A. Clippers won MVP honors as his 23 points led Team World to a 96-92 victory over Embiid's Team Africa.

Meanwhile, Tatum is coming off a spectacular rookie campaign that saw him norm playoff averages of 18.5 points, 4.4 rebounds, and 2.7 assists per game. Tatum and the Celtics got the better of Embiid's Sixers in the playoffs, beating them in the second round of last year's postseason before bowing out to the LeBron James-led Cavs.

Clarkson saw his numbers and minutes decrease since being shipped to the Cavs midway through last season.
