Atlanta Hawks star Trae Young continues to rack up the records in his spectacular sophomore season. According to Justin Kubatko of Stat Muse, the All-Star guard became the youngest player in league history to average at least 30 points and 10 assists in consecutive months. He also became just the fifth player to accomplish the feat, joining an exclusive group consisting of current and future Hall of Famers.

After notching 25 points and 15 assists in their 129-117 win over Portland, Young finishes the month of February averaging 31.3 points and 10.1 assists. Ice Trae preceded this month with January averages of 31.7 points and 11.5 rebounds.

Everybody knows that Young is a lights out shooter from beyond (even way beyond) the arc. However, most people forget that he is an elite passer as well. In fact, Young believes its his most elite skill, and it's definitely showing the full arsenal of his offensive game in just his second NBA season.

Prior to Saturday night's game, Young is putting up nightly numbers of 29.9 points (3rd in the NBA) and 9.3 assists (2nd in the NBA). Unfortunately, his elite play night after night has not been enough to lead Atlanta to wins.

Though they have won four of their last six, Atlanta still finds itself near the bottom of the Eastern Conference standings with a 19-43 mark. The Hawks essentially have nothing to play for anymore this season.

With the Hawks gearing up for a possible playoff push next season, the front office already started building their roster around their star point guard, as seen with their acquisition of Clint Capela at the trade deadline.
