Atlanta Hawks star Trae Young is the ultimate villain for any NBA team. He just loves crushing the playoff dreams of his opponents, and the Cleveland Cavaliers are his latest victims.
Of course for everyone who has been following Young, he embraces that character fully. Who could forget him taking a bow after sealing the win against the New York Knicks at Madison Square Garden in the 2021 playoffs? On Friday after he eliminated the Cavs from the play-in and helped the Hawks snatch the eighth seed, he waved goodbye to Cleveland fans in a rather savage act.

As seen in the video, some fans didn't like it and shouted at Trae Young. But hey, the Hawks star couldn't care less about what they were saying. He had the last laugh and that's all that matters. Atlanta is going to the playoffs while Cleveland is staying home vacationing.
It's also not hard to commend Ice Trae for his performance. When it looked like they were on their way to a big loss after a 10-point deficit in the first half and Clint Capela exiting with an injury, Young stepped up and showed everyone why he is a true superstar.
After scoring just six points in the first half (with zero coming in the second period), he exploded for 32 points in the final 24 minutes of play to lead the team to a 107-101 victory. While it's frustrating for Cavs fans, the fact of the matter is Young was just too difficult to stop.
Hopefully, he keeps the same attitude. The Hawks will need that swagger as they face the Miami Heat in the first round of the playoffs.
