Many blockbuster trades went on throughout the league before the deadline, but the Atlanta Hawks stayed out of it. However, Trae Young's dad couldn't help but tweet his reaction to the madness surrounding the 2022 NBA Trade Deadline.

He posted this chaotic tweet less than two hours before the deadline.

The tweet, while all over the place, basically states that Trae Young is just beginning his career and will continue to shake up the Eastern Conference, similar to his performance last season.

This reference to the Eastern Conference came less than a half hour after the Philadelphia 76ers made the blockbuster Ben Simmons for James Harden trade with the Brooklyn Nets. The news of this trade was reported by multiple NBA reporters at 1:16 p.m. EST.

The Hawks, led by Trae Young, knocked the Sixers out of the NBA Playoffs last season in Game 7 of the second round. This tweet may be a nod to that, as well as a warning to the entire Eastern Conference that the Hawks are only on the rise.

The Hawks are currently tenth in the East with a shallow losing record of 26-28. They have been inconsistent the last few games, ever since their mid-January seven-game winning streak snapped on the last day of the month.

Young leads the Hawks in minutes, points, and assists per game. He averages 34.6 minutes, 27.8 points, and 9.3 assists in each matchup. If the point guard is as good as his dad says he is, he and the Hawks have a lot of work to do to get into the playoff conversation.
