The home of the Atlanta Hawks will also include a modern barbershop, which will have a view of the entire court, and will allow their patrons not to miss out on the action, while being groomed. It is just one of the new features the arena will have to better serve the public, and turn it into a one-stop-shop for its visitors. The barbershop is a joint venture of the soon-to-be transformed arena, and popular rapper and actor Killer Mike.

An announcement of the renovation was recently made and it hopes to change the gaming experience for the Atlanta faithful, and have them support all their pro sports teams even more. High-end restaurants, shops, and other establishments are also slated to be included in the massive transformation plan.

The new-look Philips Arena is scheduled to be open to the public sometime in 2018, with the hopes of continuing to see the fans come out and support the Hawks.
