Vince Carter still has it. The 41-year old Atlanta Hawks forward won't ever seem to lose his bounce completely as he showcased his hops yet again with a putback slam in the fourth quarter in their game against the Miami Heat.

Vinsanity followed-up a miss by Alex Len and sneaked in a mild putback dunk that extended the Hawks' lead to three points in a tightly-contested ball game. He then proceeded to do his signature “Crank It Up” celebration to hype up the home crowd.

Though the dunk wasn't as forceful as those which we saw from him in his heyday, it's still amazing to see the oldest active player in the NBA get up there. He is, in fact, Mr. Half-Man, Half-Amazing.

Vince Carter is arguably the greatest in-game dunker to ever play in the NBA. He also gave fans arguably the best slam dunk contest performance in the history of the NBA All-Star weekend.

We often hear the phrase “once a shooter, always a shooter.” For Vince, though, “once a dunker, always a dunker” seems to be more appropriate. High-flying athletes often tend to lose their jumping ability when they reach the tail ends of their careers. However, the same cannot be said about Carter, who still has some bounce left in him.

The Hawks were able to snag a 123-118 home victory over the Heat. Rookie point guard Trae Young led the way for Atlanta with 24 points, six rebounds, and a career-high 15 assists. The 41-year-old Carter, on the other hand, wasn't too shabby. In 18 minutes off the bench, he finished with 12 points, two rebounds, and two assists on 5-of-7 shooting from the field.
