The Washington Wizards season is finally over after getting eliminated by the Philadelphia 76ers in the 2021 NBA Playoffs. They put up a hard fight but were ultimately outmatched by better competition. Now that the Wizards are looking forward to the offseason, there is speculation that Bradley Beal wants out of Washington.
During the postgame press conference, Bradley Beal was asked point-blank on what his long-term outlook is with Washington, and the Wizards star declined to answer. Beal currently has one more year remaining on his contract, with a player option for the 2022-23 season.

With Beal's lack of response on his future with Washington, a trade could become imminent this coming up offseason. If that's the case, the Wizards are likely accepting a rebuilding stage at that point and should be looking for draft picks. What makes the trade difficult is Bradley Beal's contract, which could prevent the Wizards from obtaining young players via trade.
At the end of the day, Bradley Beal will be a highly sought-after player from playoff-caliber teams. He'd be a great fit for a few franchises across the league and could make someone an immediate title-contender. With that said, here are three perfect trades for the Wizards if they choose to dish him away.
Dallas Mavericks
The Dallas Mavericks are a team that is playing better than expected. With Luka Doncic leading the way, anything is possible. He has a decent supporting cast and a solid coaching staff. However, the Mavericks could make a move this offseason to become a legitimate threat in the Western Conference.
One trade that would work financially and give both franchises what they want would be, Bradley Beal for Tim Hardaway Jr., Josh Richardson, and three first-round picks. For this to happen, Hardaway Jr. would have to be involved in a sign-and-trade situation, as he's due to hit free agency in the offseason. However, the main reason Washington would possibly agree to this trade would be for the three first-round selections. Dallas has already dished their picks in 2021 and 2023 away, so the Wizards would likely receive selections in 2022, 2024, and 2025. It can be quite a lot to give up, but Bradley Beal could be the missing piece that will turn Dallas into a legitimate nightmare for the rest of the league.
Article Continues BelowBoston Celtics
The Boston Celtics have been all over the news cycle lately after Danny Ainge stepped down and Brad Stevens took over as the new President of Basketball Operations of the franchise. After having a roller coaster of a season, Stevens will likely want to make some aggressive moves in the offseason in his first stint working in the front office. The Celtics aren't too far away from becoming a threat in the Eastern Conference again, as the team leans on Jayson Tatum on a nightly basis.
One trade that makes sense for both teams would be Bradley Beal for Kemba Walker and two first-round picks. Again, the main reason the Wizards would agree to this trade would be for the two draft selections, as Kemba Walker's contract is unfavorable for a rebuilding franchise. However, Washington would only have to work around his contract for a few years, as he could opt out in 2023.
Indiana Pacers
The dark horse amongst this list, the Indiana Pacers have the pieces to make a solid trade offer for Bradley Beal. Indiana is a much better team than how they finished the season, as the roster was riddled with injuries throughout the year. They have a solid core, but obtaining a superstar like Beal could really put this team over the top. The best trade offer they could make is Bradley Beal for Caris LeVert, Justin Holiday, Edmond Sumner, and two first-round picks.
LeVert is an excellent shooting guard that has been slowed down by injuries and cancer. But the five-year veteran has overcome everything so far and is a solid contributor when he's on the court. Holiday is a great depth piece that could earn extra minutes in Washington, and the two first-round picks would give the Wizards what they need to continue building the team. Obtaining first-rounders for 2021 and 2022 while also acquiring LeVert and Holiday would make for a good trade for both organizations.
