Wednesday night's game between the Boston Celtics and the Miami Heat will be pivotal for both teams. The Heat is clinging to the final playoff spot in the Eastern Conference, while the Celtics are tied with the Indiana Pacers for the fourth seed. Both teams desperately need a win to keep their current playoff position.

But both teams are also dealing with significant injuries late in the season. The Heat will be without Derrick Jones, Jr., who injured his knee when the two teams played in Boston on Monday. Three other Miami regulars are questionable.

Marcus Morris is listed as questionable after dealing with left knee soreness likely suffered during Monday night's game. The power forward is the latest on their injury report, joining shooting guard Jaylen Brown who is listed as doubtful, while veteran center Al Horford is probable.

The 29-year-old played Monday but was not productive. He scored just eight points in his 24 minutes on the floor. This season, the veteran has averaged 14.0 points, 6.1 rebounds, and 1.4 points as a semi-regular.

Horford's likely return is significant. The five-time All-Star isn't quite the player he once was but is still a mainstay in Boston's starting five. The 32-year-old has averaged 13.5 points, 6.8 rebounds, and 4.2 assists.

Bench guard Jaylen Brown rounds out the Celtics' injured trio. Drafted third overall in 2016, Brown has was a regular for Boston last season but lost playing time this year. He is averaging 13.0 points, 4.3 rebounds, and 1.3 assists.
