Boston Celtics forward Gordon Hayward experienced a minor setback after suffering an ankle injury in practice earlier this week. Fortunately, it does not appear to be too serious.
Hayward was unable to take part in Boston's loss to the Milwaukee Bucks on Thursday. However, according to Chris Forsberg of NBC Sports, he could be ready to make his return versus the Chicago Bulls on Saturday.

This is certainly an encouraging update for Boston. Gordon Hayward was finally starting to find a rhythm as of late after dealing with a severe ankle injury over the past year. There was concern that he had suffered yet another setback; however, the Celtics seemed to have dodged a bullet for now.
Hayward's presence was certainly missed by Boston during their 98-97 loss to Milwaukee. He was starting to heat up after going 19-of-21 from the field and 9-of-13 from deep in the three games before the All-Star break. He will look to pick up where he left off against a lowly Bulls team on Saturday.
It is no secret that the Celtics have dealt with their fair share of struggles throughout the 2018-19 NBA season. They have fallen vastly short of expectations thus far. They will need to string together an impressive record down the stretch in order to earn a favorable seed in the playoffs.
Hayward's emergence will undoubtedly play an integral role in Boston's run in the postseason.
