Depending on how the rest of the week plays out, the Larry O'Brien trophy is right within reach of the the Boston Celtics. But whatever the result, Jayson Tatum is already going home with a rather significant plum.

The Celtics star has been named to the All-NBA First Team, alongside Phoenix Suns' Devin Booker, Dallas Mavericks' Luka Doncic, Milwaukee Bucks' Giannis Antetokounmpo, and Denver Nuggets' Nikola Jokic.

Tatum's Celtics teammates couldn't be more proud of his achievement.

Marcus Smart started off the Celtics' streak of taking home hardware with his DPOY nod. The eight-year veteran was equally proud of his younger teammate for being named among the NBA's top five players this season.

Fellow All-Star Jaylen Brown seconded the Celtics talisman, affectionately calling Jayson Tatum “Big Deuce” as the proud father of Deuce Tatum.

Tatum's big brother in spirit, Bradley Beal, also gave him some props. Beal may be a Celtics rival in the East, but his ties with JT run much deeper than the threads they wear on the court.

Making the All-NBA First Team is a massive feather on Jayson Tatum's cap. But he'd be the first to tell you he'd trade it away for an NBA championship ring. The Celtics star now has a legitimate chance for both.
