While speaking about the woes of the Celtics this season with Chris Forsberg of NBC Sports, Perkins said that Boston has a sense of entitlement that is holding them back.

When watching the Celtics this season, it's hard to figure exactly what team you are going to get on a night-to-night basis. Will you be getting the team who was able to take down the Los Angeles Clippers earlier this month, or the team who fell to the Cleveland Cavaliers on Wednesday night?

Following Boston's disappointing collapse against Cleveland on Wednesday, the Celtics now possess a 20-20 record, which currently places them as the No. 7 seed in the Eastern Conference. Seeing that Boston has plenty of talented players on the roster like Jayson Tatum, Jaylen Brown, and Kemba Walker, it's mind-boggling to witness how the Celtics perform on certain nights.

With the Celtics searching for answers moving forward, they've been rumored to be buyers at the trade deadline. Guys like Jerami Grant, Andre Drummond, and recently John Collins have all been regarded as players that Boston could pursue in the coming weeks.

The Celtics have lost three of their past four games and Brad Stevens is attempting to get Boston back on track as soon as possible. While Stevens and Boston prepare for the Sacramento Kings on Friday, Perkins doesn't like the lack of effort that the Celtics have been showing this season, which could make them a first-round exit in the playoffs if they don't get their act together.
