Marcus Smart is many things: A tough defender, a passionate leader, a loving son, and a success story.
But maybe we should also add one more – weatherman?

Asked about their cloudy start in the NBA Eastern Conference Finals, the Boston Celtics guard told Celtics.com's Taylor Snow:
“Before you see the rainbow, it has to storm.”
Indeed, a storm seemed to have brewed within the Celtics after they fell 2-0 in their series against the Miami Heat. The 26-year-old Smart, who has never been shy in expressing his thoughts, reportedly unleashed a tirade on his teammates inside the locker room after their Game 2 defeat.
Some of the Celtics downplayed the incident, with Jaylen Brown extending his support to Smart. Kemba Walker and Enes Kanter denied it entirely.

“Of course emotions are going to fly, but we’re a family and it happens. I would have been more worried after that Game 2 loss if everyone was calm, cool, and collected. That would have been a problem.”
The Celtics weathered the storm as they responded convincingly in Game 3, with Smart contributing 20 points and six assists. It seemed like his emotional outburst also got into his teammates as Brown, Walker, and Jayson Tatum all scoring at least 20 markers as well.
After the win, Smart added more sunshine to his disposition. He told reporters:
“We still are a family and we are going to need to have moments like that where we go through adversity, we say what we have to say, we all come together and get our emotions out, and we go take it out on the other team.”
Maybe we should also add one more title to Marcus Smart's resume: Motivational speaker.
