Brooklyn Nets guard Spencer Dinwiddie may have been one of the most improved players in the league this season, but he and the rest of his team would have to improve much more to make this wish come true.

After LeBron James was swept by the Golden State Warriors last night in the NBA Finals, many players took to Twitter to begin the recruitment of The King.

Nets fans wanted Dinwiddie to jump in on the action and all he could do was laugh at that thought.

This says a lot about where the Nets are. They can't even take such thoughts seriously.

One thing that might make their fans feel better is how the 76ers are reportedly legitimately in the hunt for LeBron and they were one of the worst teams in the league for years before this past season. One crucial difference however is the assets they were able to pile up in the process while the Nets have had their assets in recent years distributed elsewhere throughout the NBA, mainly in Boston.

Good for Dinwiddie though showing off a great sense of humor.
